HORSEBACK RIDE FROM ISSYK-KOL TO NARYN
This trip to Kyrgyzstan takes you to the vast, untamed wilderness of the Central Tien Shan. Combining cultural exploration with horseback riding adventures, you’ll traverse valleys, high mountain passes, and pristine landscapes, moving at the pace of nomadic life.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BISHKEK
Meet your local team at the airport, then transfer to the hotel. After a few hours of rest, set out for your first tour of the city. Visit Ala-Too Square, the heart of the country’s cultural and political life, then stroll through the Osh Bazaar market and explore other iconic sites in Bishkek.
Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: BISHKEK – BOKONBAEV
We leave Bishkek and head toward the majestic Lake Issyk-Kul, the largest lake in the country. Along the way, we stop at the 11th-century Burana Tower.
Upon arrival in Bokonbaev, we will watch a falconry demonstration.
Dinner and overnight stay at a guesthouse.

DAY 3: BOKONBAEV – JAZY KECHU
Meet our groom and prepare the horses. Set off on your equestrian adventure toward the mountains.
On this first day, which involves 4 to 5 hours of riding, we’ll get to know our horses while riding through stunning landscapes.

DAY 4: JAZY KECHU – TOSOR PASS
We continue our horseback trek through wild, remote valleys. We gradually gain elevation toward the Tosor Pass (3,890 m).
After crossing the pass, we’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of a vast high-altitude valley. We’ll then descend and set up camp.
Approximately 5 to 6 hours on horseback.

DAY 5: TOSOR PASS – JYLUU SUU
Ride along a river. In the afternoon, we arrive at a place called Jyluu-Suu (Hot Water).
You’ll have the chance to relax in the natural hot springs.
About 5 to 6 hours on horseback.

DAY 6: JYLUU SUU – TESHIK KOL – KARA KAMAN
We set off toward the Kara-Kaman Valley. Along the way, we pass by the small Lake Teshik-Kol, located at an altitude of 3,500 meters, whose name means “pierced lake” due to its unique geological feature. Then, we cross an unnamed pass at 3,800 meters and descend into the Kara-Kaman Valley.
Approximately 6 hours on horseback.

DAY 7: KARA KAMAN – JAK BOLOT
An easy day’s ride to a place called “Jak-Bolot.” About 4 to 5 hours on horseback. We’ll set up our tents.

DAY 8: JAK BOLOT – ORUK TAM – NARYN
Our final morning on horseback (about 4 hours) to reach the small, remote village of Oruk Tam. Upon arrival, we say goodbye to our grooms and horses, who are returning home.
Meet the driver, then transfer to the city of Naryn. Upon arrival, check into a comfortable hotel.
Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 9: NARYN – KOCHKOR – KOL UKOK
We leave Naryn and head toward Kochkor (about a 2-hour drive). Upon arrival in the village of Isakeev, we meet our horse handler and his horses. We set off on a roughly 4-hour horseback ride to Lake Kol-Ukok, nestled at an altitude of 3,000 meters. We’ll have a picnic lunch along the way.
Upon arrival, we settle into yurts on the shores of this high-altitude lake.
Dinner and overnight stay in a yurt.

DAY 10: KOL UKOK – KOCHKOR
In the morning, we’ll set out on horseback toward Kol-Tor, a small mountain lake. Then, we’ll ride down to the village of Isakeev, where we’ll meet up with our driver.
Return to Kochkor and check-in at a comfortable guesthouse.
Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 11: KOCHKOR – BISHKEK
Return trip to Bishkek. Along the way, a roughly 2-hour hike (round trip) through the Konorchek Canyons.
Arrival in Bishkek, check-in at the hotel, and final preparations before departure.
Dinner at a restaurant.

DAY 12: AIRPORT TRANSFER
